Love this perspective! For better or worse, the expected price for content on the internet has basically become free. And to be fair, much of what's out there is often repetitive and commoditized.

Regardless of your business, there's now an expectation of some kind of "free sample" or "try before you buy" option. That's especially true in content and writing.

The tough part is that free content still takes a lot of time and energy to produce. So writers who are just starting out will hustle to create free content, but they don't yet have the business model on the back end to monetize their work.

This is a tough stretch that discourages most writers (myself included). The only option is to keep pushing through to the other side.
